GOOGLE MOBILE LOCAL KNOWLEDGE PANEL 101

Hi, I'm Mordy from Rank Ranger, and today we're going to tell you a little bit about the Google Mobile Local Knowledge Panel. Google's mobile knowledge panel covers a wide range of fields, including movie panels, book panels, hotel panels, and more. To make it even more powerful, each panel has many functions and variants, depending on the entities displayed in it.

So instead of throwing all these "knowledge panel" variants at you all at once, that's what I plan to do at some point... Here's a quick look at the mobile native panel, think of it as A mobile native knowledge panel 101 because right here in the mobile native panel it has the advantage of different functions and panel variations, seriously we can spend hours on this type of knowledge panel but don't worry, I do not know.

Much of what Google offers in the email list mobile local panel has a lot to do with the type of local business we're looking at. For our purposes, we're going to break it down into local service businesses (you know, lawyers, dentists, banks, etc.), local shops and restaurants. Why? Well, because each of these categories brings a different set of features, because Google is diverse and smart.

Well, let's take a look at this! First, I'll randomly say one, for example, a mobile local group of local dentists. The first thing you get is a quick summary showing the entity name, rating and description. Then we get tags, tags for different content. We're actually lucky here, this panel has more tabs than we usually see for this type of business. Really, this is a great example of how local businesses can take advantage of mobile native panels. So if you are such a business yourself, or are doing SEO for these clients, keep an eye out. I'll get back to these tabs in a minute, just for reference.

In the meantime, let's keep moving down the Overview tab. You have your "button" here that lets you call the business, pull directions, save the panel for a midnight dentist cleaning, and go to the entity's actual website. Now Google is asking us to describe this place, which is really funny, and it makes me wonder if we're going to get the "Highlights" carousel here. You might ask: "What is that?".
